How does the Swinkle® Aurora air purifier work?

The Swinkle® Aurora Air Purifier uses multi-layer filtration to purify the air in your home. The first layer, the pre-filter, captures larger particles such as hair and dust. How often should I replace the filters?

The HEPA and carbon filters should be replaced every 3, 6 or 12 months, depending on usage and the air quality in your home. To extend the lifespan, you can clean the filter every so often by removing the dust. In general, we recommend replacing the filter at least every 100 days. The air purifier has a timer that indicates how many days have passed and when the 100 days have passed.

For which rooms is the Swinkle® Aurora air purifier suitable?

The Swinkle® Aurora air purifier is powerful enough to effectively clean the air in rooms up to 25 square meters. The purifier can also be used for larger rooms, however the filtration percentage and effectiveness will decrease somewhat.

How does the air quality meter work?

The air quality meter continuously measures the amount of pollutants in the air and displays this information on the LED screen. This way you always know how clean the air in your home is. There are three indicators:

Red: Poor air quality - PM2.5 is between 101-150 mg
Yellow: Good air quality - PM2.5 is between 51-100 mg
Green: Excellent air quality - PM2.5 is between 0-50 mg

What is PM2.5?

PM stands for particulate matter, or fine dust. 2.5 means particles that are smaller than 2.5 micrometers in diameter. It is measured with 2.5 because these are more harmful than other values ​​such as PM10 fine dust.
